Jess Ford is proud to offer a Trade-In Discount Program that provides eligible customers with qualifying discounts toward the purchase or lease of a qualifying new or used vehicle. This program is designed to provide additional value to customers who bring in a qualifying trade-in vehicle.

The Trade-In Discount provides eligible customers with a qualifying discount toward the purchase or lease of a qualifying new or used vehicle. This discount is funded by the dealership and is applied as a reduction to the vehicle’s selling price. The Trade-In Discount is separate from the trade-in value of the customer’s vehicle and is available only when all eligibility requirements are met. Eligibility is not guaranteed, and the amount of the discount may vary depending on the qualifications of the trade-in vehicle.
The Trade-In Discount is not the same as the value of the trade-in vehicle and cannot be combined with the trade allowance to create the appearance of a larger discount.
To qualify for the Trade-In Discount, the customer’s trade-in vehicle must meet specific minimum standards related to value, condition, ownership, and operability.
The trade-in vehicle must have a minimum actual cash value of $1,500 as determined by market valuation from our dealership appraisal team. The vehicle must be structurally intact and free from known frame damage. The vehicle must not have a flood-damaged or fire-damaged branded title, and the title must be transferable to the dealership. The vehicle must not have altered emissions.
In addition, the vehicle must be operational at the time of appraisal. This means the vehicle must start under its own power, be capable of shifting into drive and reverse, and be able to be moved on and off dealership property without assistance. Vehicles that require towing, are disassembled, or are not capable of being driven or moved under their own power do not qualify for the Trade-In Discount.
Certain types of vehicles are not eligible for the Trade-In Discount regardless of their perceived value. Vehicles that are classified as salvage, junk, or parts-only vehicles do not qualify. Vehicles that do not have a valid and transferable title are also not eligible. Recreational vehicles, boats, trailers, equipment, and machinery are not considered qualifying trade-in vehicles under this program. Vehicles that have undisclosed major mechanical failures or conditions that prevent safe operation may also be disqualified from eligibility.
The discount is independent of the trade-in allowance and cannot be combined with or included in the trade value calculation. All pricing, discounts, and eligibility conditions are disclosed to the customer prior to purchase commitment to ensure transparency and compliance with applicable regulations.
The Trade-In Discount has no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash or applied to a transaction without the purchase or lease of a qualifying vehicle. The discount cannot be transferred to another person or transaction unless otherwise permitted by the dealership. The Trade-In Discount may be combined with other manufacturer incentives or dealer offers only when allowed and properly disclosed.
All program decisions, including eligibility and discount approval, are subject to dealership verification and management approval. The dealership reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Trade-In Discount Program at any time without prior notice.
This program is administered in accordance with applicable Washington State dealer licensing laws, including the Revised Code of Washington (RCW 46.70) and Washington Administrative Code (WAC 308-66), as well as federal consumer protection standards.
All dealer-funded discounts offered under this program represent legitimate reductions to the vehicle selling price, are clearly disclosed prior to purchase, and are documented in the transaction record. These requirements are intended to ensure consistent, transparent, and compliant pricing practices for all customers.
